• Visit statistics. We count visits with GoatCounter, software we run on our own server. It records the page viewed, the page you came from, your browser and operating system, your screen size, your language, and your country. It does not set cookies and does not store your IP address.
• Server requests. Our web servers receive your IP address and the details your browser sends whenever a page or file is requested.

Cookies and browser storage

Our site does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

• capsize.locale in local storage remembers your language setting.

You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings.

Third parties

We do not send visit data to Google or to any advertising or analytics company. Our site loads its fonts from our own servers.

Services that receive some information:

• Our hosting provider, Hetzner, which runs our servers.
• GitHub Sponsors is embedded on the donate page; GitHub receives your request when the page loads.

Links to other sites (GitHub, itch.io, and so on) are governed by those sites' own policies.

How we use it

To deliver the site, keep it secure, answer messages, and understand how the site is used. We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices

• Block or limit cookies in your browser settings.
• Use a content blocker to stop visit counting.
• Ask us for a copy, a correction, or deletion of the information we hold about you.
